Nati Fuentes Centro de Ninos
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that children in care are supported and encouraged to engage in active play, develop fundamental movement skills and to have limited screen time (television/videos, computer games, etc.).
Centro de Niños recognizes the importance of physical activity for young children. Implementation of appropriate physical activity practices supports the health and development of the children in care, as well as assisting in establishing positive lifestyle habits for the future.
Centro de Niños follows the child care nutrition guidelines recommended by the USDA CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) for all of the food that we serve.
Good nutrition is vital to children's overall development and well-being. In an effort to provide the best possible nutrition environment for the children in our facility, Centro de Niños has developed the following child care nutrition policy to encourage the development of good eating habits that will last a lifetime.
